We had a wonderful week as we concluded testing. Sims Middle students made gains in almost every category! Great job Patriots. We also celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week this week and are thankful to have such a wonderful group of teachers and staff.
The 8th grade dance is Saturday, May 17. If you did not purchase your ticket in advance, they will be sold at the door for $20 (cash or check only).

Other Information
· Semester exams are May 27, 28, and 29. All students are required to take exams. Thursday, May 29 is an early release day. Students are dismissed for the summer at 11:05.
· Students who are in danger of needing summer school have been given a purple Summer School form. The district will be able to provide transportation. It is important that students turn that form in so that transportation can be notified.
· 8th grade students who are not passing all classes for the year will be working in credit recovery in lieu of participating in Fun Day on May 23. Please check your child’s grades in Focus and encourage him/her to finish strong.
